Thanks to everyone that has left a note here in the guestbook. Unfortunately the guestbook got badly spammed by rubbish sales companies. So, I had to remove and block their posts - some genuine IP addresses and posts were also removed - sorry.
All posts now require my approval but that will not take long.
Please post your messages - but don\'t leave an email address

I used to be a member of the club about 20 odd years ago. interested at the time in c/l team racing. Now member of Northern Circle Burners in Johannesburg. Knew Bill Draper, who I understand is still VERY active on the stunt scene. Like to pop out to see you when next visiting UK.

Great site. I have my own field outside my back door but to rural to have anyone to fly with often so I do a lot of stooge flying. Scale planes I fly at the local airport when I can get someone to pit.
Does anyone know a ready source for dummy engines and four bladed props?

Hi Dale,
I hope your computer keeps you in touch with the outside world and in touch with other C/L fliers.
I keep the websites updated throughout the year so there will be plenty of new photograhps to look at.
Best wishes, Mike

Great website. I've been flying C/L off and on since 1949. I'm retired, living on the farm where I grew up...have a 180' C/L circle mowed & rolled in my pasture. I fly alone, as there are no C/L enthusiasts closer than 125 miles.

I am going to be in London May 27 - June 3 and wanted to see if I could fly with someone. I won't be bringing a plane but would love to bore a hole in the air. Are you close to London? Or do you know any other clubs that might be close by?

Great site. I really enjoy the pictures of you fellows enjoying your flying field. I have an extremely difficult time here finding even a U/C site which I can use more than once. Even if I have the owner's permission, someone a mile away (with his lawnmower running)can hear even a muffled diesel. Presently flying and enjoying RC electric which doesn't seem to attract adverse attention. When I was in England in the mid-50's I built a lot of Keil Kraft and now that I am retired, am re-building many of them by way of
plans purchased from various sources. One plan which I have not been able to locate is the "Skylon", a 38" span contest
model. Does anyone know where said plan in available. I am still fascinated by the availability of your flying fields. It seem as though our lawyers have convinced every landowner that model aircraft are extrememly hazardous.
Many thanks,
John James jaj1940@bellsouth.net

Hi Mike/Andy
Just browsing again, like your scale C/L Mike and Andys scale rubber job, excellent photos. When i took up modelling as part of my recooperation from radical surgery in 88 my main interest was F2B . I have since flown, judged and CDd at many Australian F2B Nats but recently i only have eyes for the main event being Hand Launch Gliders.
Best Regards,
Len. ps about to set up my own web site in next month.

Nice layout. Can anyone help me!! I'm a bit of an R/C 'er with those glider things! But I want to go back to my grass roots - A2 and A1's, I know the names have changed (Modernisation!). The construction poses no problems, however I think there might now be a secret club out there (Tongue in cheek!) with regards the airfoils used, the last one I built had a Benedek section! I can't find any on available software, co-ordinates, examples, etc, etc. And finally...I just got into circle tow hooks (Before crossing over!) and now they 'Bunt' them off the line! So much to learn - but how!!! Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Tony.
