The very odd thing is that I went to grammar school with Freddie Pruetzel, at St. Matthew Lutheran, which no longer is there on Sherman Ave in Inwood. I sat next to him at class, and he never really was a noisy guy, just another classmate. It was afterwards that my friend, Christine, called me in Fl to tell me who it was. I couldn\'t believe it, never putting it together! I also remember the day he shot himself, I was at work. Such a quick and decisive decision, ending his life.I also happened to look him up today, I don\'t know why, and found it was the 41st anniversary of his death. I can hardly believe it. Rest in peace, Freddie, you should have stayed for the ride! |
