I’m looking to see if anyone has any memories of my Dad, Rodney Hann. He was with 60 Squadron in RAF Tengha in about 1968. He was an instrument technician and was a member of the water polo team I think. My brother Peter was about 2 and my Mum, Carole lived in Penang, Singapore at one time.

Was in Singapore from 1965 to 1968. Lived Ramillies Court, Wessex Estate and was at Bourne School for about 2.5 years. Good times were had. Would welcome contact from anyone who remembers me.

Hi,
I lived in Singapore between 1963 & 1966 as an eight to eleven year old.
My father was working in the Navy Dockyard (MPBW) as a Quantity Surveyor. We lived firstly outside the base just off the Upper Thompson Rd, then in the base @ Gibralter Crs, and finally in a classic Black & White at 283 Sudan Rd.
I attended RNS & Bourne School. I have a few photos your members would likely be interested in.
Kind Regards,
Derek Elwin (Brisbane, Australia)

My father Ken Rollinson was posted to Singapore circa 1964-68. I attended RN Junior School, as did my younger brother Christopher Rollinson. We lived in Jalan Lengkok on Sembawang Rd. My besties were Sue Grant, Caroline Simpson and Karen Beaton. My parents Ken and Val Rollinson played badminton at the Naval Base and we regularly went swimming at Aggie Westons after school. I note Angela Jackson posted our school photo - I\'m sitting next to her.

Australia and Scotland originally

I am looking to confirm or find the Sherman or Sherwin family that where in Singapore with the RAF in 1968.

Colin was posted independent to his father who was also posted there with his siblings Alistair and Rosalind attended Seletar Secondary School.

Does anyone remember this family and can help me confirm their names please?

I\'m just wondering if anyone remembers my dad David Stockham who was in the royal marines band in the 60\'s and was stationed at Singapore. He was married to a beautiful lady(my mum) Linda and had a son,Mark. David played the cornet in the band. He talks about singas a lot and sadly lost Linda recently. Anybody remember him here and have any singas memories? I will ask him about posting some of his images on this site as he has many.

I attended the RN school in Singapore in 1969 and 1970, and I would like to post some photos and ask if anyone remembers the junior class with our teacher call Miss Jew.

Thanks,

Currently living in London, England

We lived at 79 Lloyd Leas estate from 1956 to 1959, and I attended the RAF Changi Junior School.
I revisited Singapore in 2016 and was very pleased to see how prosperous it has become.

Perth, Australia. Born in Aldershot, Hampshire.

My parents, Ken and Gay Baggaley, and my three siblings; Carol, Janis and Martin lived in Wilton Close, Wessex Estate, in about 1962 to 1964. Martin and I would have attended Pasir Panjang Army Children\'s School and Janis would have been in the secondary or grammar school. I think Carol may have already finished school.
