I\'m just wondering if anyone remembers my dad David Stockham who was in the royal marines band in the 60\'s and was stationed at Singapore. He was married to a beautiful lady(my mum) Linda and had a son,Mark. David played the cornet in the band. He talks about singas a lot and sadly lost Linda recently. Anybody remember him here and have any singas memories? I will ask him about posting some of his images on this site as he has many.

We lived at 79 Lloyd Leas estate from 1956 to 1959, and I attended the RAF Changi Junior School.
I revisited Singapore in 2016 and was very pleased to see how prosperous it has become.

My parents, Ken and Gay Baggaley, and my three siblings; Carol, Janis and Martin lived in Wilton Close, Wessex Estate, in about 1962 to 1964. Martin and I would have attended Pasir Panjang Army Children\'s School and Janis would have been in the secondary or grammar school. I think Carol may have already finished school.

My mum Maureen Westwood was at RAF Changi from 1959 her dad was an Eric Westwood Flight Sargent anyone remember or at RAF changi at that time?

We lived in Nee Soon Camp from 1967-1970 with my Dad serving in the Pay Corps and lived in one of the black and whites at Ridgeway. Loved our years in Singapore as a child and luckily spent another 17 years based across Asia in my career. Great memories, sadly Dad passed away in 1991 (Tony Debono) but Mum is going strong at 93. Singapore was truly a unique posting for us as a family.

I lived in 3 Aden court Wessex Estate from January 1962 until September 1962 which is when I joined The Royal Air Force. I was then posted to Changi.
Since then I have been back four times. The last time was fourteen years ago.
Wessex Estate looked the same as did Raffles Hotel.
I use to hang out with Dave Gibbs, Pete Coleman, Jackie Harvey, and girls Bonnie, Susan and Janet.
Happy days, where are they now.

I am looking to see if there is anyone who served in the RAF between January 1949 and January 1953 and who remembers my aunt May Atkinson Sword.
Shd was based at Changi and was a LACW.
I believe at some point she was engaged to a British Marine over there who was killed in Malay.

My sister and I were teenagers in Singapore 1967 - 1969 Dad was in the REME we lived in toho mansions Holland village and then 3 wgitchuech road Wessex estate. If you have any memories of both place in the era or even lived in whitcgurch road etc please email me. I last visited Wessex estate maarch 2025 everything mostly is still the dame amazingly.
