Michael is the best professional guitar player I personally know. He shares his music knowledge readily and is a wonderful friend. I wish I lived closer to him so I could learn from him and mostly just to spend time with him.

I developed my love of rock and roll in Spider Kelly. When I first joined the band I had about 2 weeks to learn all of the original songs and a handful of copy songs before a huge gig at Kings Castle in Lake Tahoe. It was easy to road trip as I was single and care free. Now I\'m in a band, Smalltime, that includes lead guitarist extrordinaire Kenny Goorabian from Sacramento band Steel breeze. Between my wife and I we have 5 kids and 14 grand kids. I\'ve never been happier.

A random one here. I visited the US in Aug/Sept 1978 and went to the Fox Hunt at Orange County International Raceway in California. I think you guys played live that night? Did I dream it?

Just wanted to say thanks for the memories! My friend Maureen & I followed Spider Kelly all over Southern California and Parker, Az in the late 70’s - early 80’s.

Mike is one hell of a great guitar player and a nicer guy than anyone could wish for. I wish I lived closer so I cold steal some of his chops. We have jammed a few times and it\'s always a blast.

In 1968 I was in the USAF - had quit playing as my 1964 Fender Jazzmaster was stolen off a plane in Chicago on my way to my first Air Base Westover AB in Chicopee Mass.

Stated again in 1996 when my home town asked me to get my band THE KNIGHTS together for the towns 110th anniversary. Borrowed equipment, sent tapes to everyone and I was hooked again.

I have been playing ever since. Great thing to do in retirement.

I wish I would have been able to see you guys in the day.

My Mother and I used to go see them every Monday night at Jimmy McGees in Huntington Beach. Spider Kelly was one of the best local bands of their time and area, and their members and crew treated us like family. It\'s too bad the record labels never took them seriously, the world was cheated out of some great music. Rock on guys!

Well another year has just about come to an end. And I\'d like to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!! It has been a trying year here for me and my family. . . . . I lost my sister Laurie on Dec 11 and still can\'t wrap my head around the fact that she\'s gone. Kristen and I are enjoy our Grand kids, Alexander and Samantha . . . .They are Tony Jr\'s and his wife Vanessa\'s children, so great to watch them grow and learn!!! I\'ve just spent the last hour voyaging through my distant past... Great times were had. The Geezer Fest should have been a reality show back then. Would have been much more entertaining than the crap on Bravo. I plan to get back to Orange County next year and hope to see the band mates that are still lurking there. Take care old friends.

Yes I do!!! With all the things that have happened to all of us ex-Spider Kelly members I'd like to say there is no right or wrong, there is no perfect song, there's nothing like the perfect fit and the perfect jam and that doesn't happen a lot!~! But to stay in the positive light takes a lot of work! I hope everyone is doing all right!! MATT CAIN THROWS PERFECT GAME. . . 1st in 130 years of Giants history!! YEEEEHAAA!
