As a class asignment we were to redo a web site that we were interested in. I thought of many things, but suddenly I remembered the Orphan Train so I looked up a couple things. Liked yours in particular.

I'm 50, yes I'm a 50 year old student, I live in Earlville, IL with my wife and son. (19 - 6'2") anyway, if you're interested, I'll link the site I created from my site geoffweb.com, in a week or two.
Very interesting! Nice work.

My husband & I took a trip to Sedalia, Mo & learned of the Orphan trains. I bought all 3 books that Donna wrote plus Volume 3 telling indivdual stories. These books have inspired me to write about my life as a foster child. I felt the need to tell my decendants my story.

My husband and I went to a museum in Griswold, Iowa yesterday and we saw information about the orphan trains and it was the first I had ever heard of them. I am so fascinated and I would like to learn more. I am a music teacher at the Middle school/High school level. I'm 55 years old and can't believe I have never heard of this before. I'd appreciate knowing more. Thanks, Linda
