Relocating Folk Punk band - members wanted

Hi,

I'm soon to be moving to the Perth/Dundee area of Scotland (from Brighton). And looking to reform my old Folk Punk band.

I'm the electric violinist, and will be looking for drums/bass/guitar and most importantly, a cool front man in the John Lydon/Iggy Pop vein.

OK, so it's got a violin, don't let that put you off. Have a listen.

I expect to get the band up and running pretty quickly, get a new demo recorded, and get onto the Scottish/North England gig circuit asap. Would look to doing at least Fri and Sat night gigs every week, looking towards festivals in the UK and Europe - I'd love to do Glastonbury again! I do need the members to be up for it, musically sound. Vocals need to be male, but the rest can be either - or in between I guess. Age, doesn't matter if you're up for it. I'm 31.

As for me, I've played with TUT, Blue Horses, Pepe Deluxe, Divine Comedy and Massive Attack, so that'll give you an idea of the quality I'm looking for - hope I don't sound too anal!

If you're interested, have questions etc. etc. please PM me or email me mark@madfiddler.co.uk Dunno if this is going to work, as I have no idea about the Scottish music scene, ho hum.

Ta,

Mark.
