The 3rd Africa Monitoring and Evaluation Symposium in Kenya


Capacity Africa is pleased to invite you to participate in the 3rd International Monitoring and Evaluation Symposium. The Symposium will take place from the 4th to 6th December 2018 at the Hilton Hotel, Nairobi in Kenya.

Key partners include the African institute of Project Management Studies (AIPMS), Humanitarian Web and Changemaker International, International development organizations and government institutions.

Theme: New Developments and Challenges in Monitoring and Evaluation. The Symposium will highlight developments, challenges, and contributions, best practices and lessons learned in the use of M&E data for program design and implementation.

The Symposium targets Civil Society Representatives, policy makers, senior civil servants, development planners, NGO Leadership and representatives of International Development Organizations, M&E Practitioners, M&E Consultants and academicians who make up the M&E Community.

Thematic areas for discussion include:
Understanding and distinguishing between monitoring and evaluation
Governance and accountability
Selection of analytical tools, methodologies and approaches enabling measurement and attribution.
Development of indicators to measure progress and identity gaps
