MandE NEWS Training Forum

Please use this Forum to:
  • Publicise upcoming M&E training events: PS: Off-topic posts will be deleted
  • Post comments or questions about any particular training events that have already been posted
Advice:
  • Try to include the date, location and title of the training event in the heading of your post
  • If you want to include a working web link in your message, you need to sorround the link within HTML code. This is easy. For the basics of how to do this go to http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_links.asp
Here is an online survey into training needs. Participate in the survey to let people know what kind of training you need.

Look at the results if you are providing some type of M&E training, and you want your training to address people's needs.

Here is a list of M&E training providers, organised country by country. If you want your organisation to be included in the list, post a message using the Comment form at the bottom of that page.

CAVEAT: The listing of events on this page does not imply any form of endorsement by MandE NEWS of the accuracy of the information provided, the quality of the events, or their relevance to your needs.

REQUEST: This service is provided by Rick Davies pro bono. Please do not waste my time by posting irrelevant material, ether about non-M&E jobs or about other unrelated matters.

Webinar: Overview of programme design and planning tools: 26 July at 3pm CEST

Are you looking to broaden and sharpen your working knowledge of planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning? Our 45 minute webinars aim to simplify the terms and concepts in a way that is concise, yet combining both theory and practice.
At Southern Hemisphere, we conceptualise Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning as a cycle – beginning with Defining your project or programme, then Measuring, Learning and Improving. We have structured the webinar series around these segments.

Participants will understand:
• Different design and planning frameworks: the Logical Framework Approach, Theory of Change and Outcome Mapping
• Planning terminology used in these frameworks
• The benefits and challenges of each planning framework
• The similarities and differences between the different planning frameworks
• Good principles for programme design and planning

Cost is R395. Contact Pippa on training@southernhemisphere.co.za for more information.

About the trainer:
Wilma Wessels-Ziervogel, MPhil Monitoring & Evaluation Methods (Stellenbosch)
Wilma is a Senior Consultant and Managing Member at Southern Hemisphere. She has worked with South African and International Organizations using Logframe, Theory of Change, Outcome Mapping or a fusion of these planning frameworks.
