MandE NEWS Training Forum

Please use this Forum to:
  • Publicise upcoming M&E training events: PS: Off-topic posts will be deleted
  • Post comments or questions about any particular training events that have already been posted
Advice:
  • Try to include the date, location and title of the training event in the heading of your post
  • If you want to include a working web link in your message, you need to sorround the link within HTML code. This is easy. For the basics of how to do this go to http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_links.asp
Here is an online survey into training needs. Participate in the survey to let people know what kind of training you need.

Look at the results if you are providing some type of M&E training, and you want your training to address people's needs.

Here is a list of M&E training providers, organised country by country. If you want your organisation to be included in the list, post a message using the Comment form at the bottom of that page.

CAVEAT: The listing of events on this page does not imply any form of endorsement by MandE NEWS of the accuracy of the information provided, the quality of the events, or their relevance to your needs.

REQUEST: This service is provided by Rick Davies pro bono. Please do not waste my time by posting irrelevant material, ether about non-M&E jobs or about other unrelated matters.

Most Significant Change Training - including quantitative analysis, 4 - 6 July Oxford UK

4 - 6 July: We are running training in the Most Significant Change (MSC) Technique. This is a participatory qualitative technique widely used to support evaluations of social programs and programs in international development.

If you participate in this training, at the end of the training you will be able to determine whether MSC is appropriate for your context, and design and implement its application. You will also be able to analyse MSC data quantitatively to identify typical outcomes, relationships between beneficiaries and outcomes, and 'early warning' signs.

The training will be held in Oxford UK.
