Thats too bad. That where the Lunar Modules were constructed not to mention a gaggle of planes from the Wildcat fighter to portions of the F-14 (which were transported up the LIE to Calverton for final assembly).

Bethpage Field is no longer in use. Grumman deactivated the field maybe 10 years ago and the only air ops currently are the Nassau Co PD helicopters. The filed was converted to an industrial park and some senior housing.

Anyone know what happened to Bethpage field? is it still there? or is it gone? i have fs 2002 and fly all over long island and i live here also and have never actually "seen" Bethpage. Ive seen the wire markers over the parkway for them but..ahh well if anyone knows or has pics please tell me!!
