Failed hijack on Paris-Montreal flight -airport

PARIS, Nov 22 (Reuters) - An Air France flight from Montreal landed safely in Paris on Friday after a failed hijack bid by a passenger, the Paris airports authority said on Friday.

"A passenger was overcome after he threatened to blow the plane up," Jacques Reder, a spokesman for the Paris airport authority said. "The plane landed normally at 06:07 a.m. local time (0507 GMT)," he added.
