Hello everyone I would like to wish you all a good start to this years season of boating, be it on the Canals or the Rivers and Broads.

We have just got back from Norfolk after spending 4 days getting our syndicate boat Ranworth Breeze ready for the new season.

All the curtains, nets and bedding were returned to the boat, new pillows and protectors supplied(the duvets did not need replacing being as we brought them back with us at the end of our season in early December) to be honest with regards to new pillows & duvets it is cheaper to buy new than get them laundered.

The boat was cleaned new fender socks fitted with new lines (I find buying a lengh of stockinet the cheapest option about £35 for 5 metres, we need around 12 metres to do our 10 side fenders) uphostery & carpets hovered and steam cleaned. Refitted floating lifebouy lines & a couple of warps that we cleaned in the washing machine (use tie wraps or an old pillow case to prevent the ropes from tangleing). Repairs needed for canopy clips and a bit of stitching done.

Boat now looking good and ready for boating, all we need is better weather.
