Ma'm-
That's about the fastest reply to a message I've had in recent memory! It's genuinely appreciated. It's funny but at least two tv source books I looked at stated that Mr. McKennon didn't join the cast until 1968. Wonder why they put out that kind of misinformation?
Yes, I would like to know the titles of some of the shows
that were to his advantage, particularly the ones you mentioned about the singing. Thanks again.

Though he didn't appear in the pilot episode, Dallas McKennon was a member of the cast for the entire 6-year run of the series. I can get you a list of all the episodes where he appeared, including one or two where he sang. One particular song, "Critters in the Wood," is one that Mr. McKennon wrote himself.
It's so great that he'll be one of your guests! I had the privilege of meeting him last year and he's quite a guy. If you send me more information I'll be sure to post it here on the web site.

Dallas McKennon is going to be one of our guests at the Memphis Film Festival June 12-14. It's a nostalgic affair where classic movies and tv shows are celebrated. I was wondering if someone could tell me the episode titles of some of the shows that were especially good for Mr. McKennon's character. It's my understanding he didn't join the series until three or four years into it, yet I thought I saw his name listed in the cast long before that. I'd like this clarified as well. I certainly enjoyed "Daniel Boone" when it was originally on,but I need some expert help on these questions. Thank You
