Hands greasy of money
Palms sweaty of green cash
Yet ninoy brings smile all the time
Almost drooling in sight
Of wadded bills folded in a band
A palm ready to grab while his eyes alight
Boastful, knowing traffic police
In the city of drivers streets
Smoke keeps coming and going daily
While he coughs with agony
Hey bossingg!
He yells all the time to greet such great man
Roast pig making his belly big
They smile and wave, praising
His president hooks him up
While his family eats fish and scraps
Everyday he tries to roam the route in heat
Beating other competition of the driving seats
Yelling when coming, hailing when going
Still they bring smile whenever they see their president, the man
Being a friend would bring charm untouched by no one
Except his friend would give fines whenever they are no longer fine
Paying 1500 pesos to belong to such group
200 pesos for an accident when he could no longer walk
Yet they smile for they will have a friend
Who would let them eat pig and drink beer in the christmas time
From that membership cash they have sweated off their backs.
