I recently dealt with a pesky clogged basement drain is clogged with dirt or mud. It was quite a challenge, but I'm happy to share how I tackled it! Firstly, I cleared the visible debris using gloves and a small shovel. Next, I poured a mixture of hot water and vinegar down the drain to break down the dirt. Finally, a plumbing snake helped clear out the remaining blockage.
