she looks nice in that scene...but i still prefer her with long hair ... or curly hair!! love that hair style she looks alot younger and cute!!

I think she certainly looks better with long hair than the wig she wears in LMS.

But we have to remember that it is a deliberate decision to make her look less pretty in the beginning to project her humble image as a poor, struggling worker who is saving hard for her US education.

When she returns with long, flowing hair from the US after 4 years, it marks the dramatic transformation from "an ugly duckling" to a swan. So her hairstyle is used as a tool to signify the beginning of a better life for her when she comes back with a degree.


Anyway, like some of you say, Jessica can never be ugly, just less pretty with short hair. And remember, it is needed for her role in LMS, not that she has bad taste in choosing that wig!
