You may just about remember me - I taught you Computer Science at Roedean - you were a lovely and brilliant student (of course!!!)

You will be pleased to hear how proud we all were of you at Roedean - your great success at Imperial and then your amazing career with TVB and in the movies.

I am now teaching at Bellerbys International College in Hove and the reason I am writing is that I have a student - a really lovely Chinese girl called Dan Lin Zhao - who is interested in entering the media world in Hong Kong - not necessarily at the front end, as in your case, but perhaps on the production side. I wondered if you would mind if I asked her to contact you - and perhaps you might give her some advice and maybe even put her in touch with some people - as you know much more about the Hong Kong industry than I do.

It wouldn't involve more than the exchange of a couple of emails. She is a great fan of yours and I would see it as a great favour if you just showed her a bit of encouragement.
