It's sad to hear about your forearm. How are your forearms now? Do not carry any heavy stuff and apply too much movement on your forearm. The driver should receive punishment for his reckless driving.

About receiving treatment while you are on trips to Europe countries, is it possible that you research about the chiropractor/ muscle and joints specialist in the country and maybe can get your treatment in the foreign country so that you will not miss too many treatments for your forearms while on trip. Anyway, this is just my suggestion.
