Blood samples are collected from study participants at numerous accredited clinical locations. The samples then undergo transportation to the nearest PK4 laboratory for immediate processing. The process includes isolation, counting, and preparation of PBMCs for cryopreservation.

Each PK4 facility within the network is equipped with advanced storage systems designed to sustain temperatures of -20°C and -80°C, alongside liquid nitrogen storage capabilities.
