Barry Lunn and his friend flew in from
Florida to fish for redfish. These 2 are no rookies as they live near Fort Pierce and fish the Indian River. Our first day we fished for slot reds as they wanted to take home some south Louisiana fillets. The duo caught over 35 -40 reds and after boxing our 15 fish limit I tagged and released another 24 reds. The second day they wanted to sample the bull Red action so we concentrated on catching reds in excess of 20 lbs. The bulls did not disappoint them as we found them crashing the surface rating up everything in sight! The guys caught big reds from 20-38 lbs all morning and after catching and tagging and releasing over 25 reds they were worn out! On the way back in I twisted their arms to catch a few trout which they enjoyed more than I thought they would. The birds were working and we caught about 50-60 quick fish and boxed about 25 over 12 inches. By looking at the pics you can see that the guys can scratch the redfish off their bucket list! Mission accomplished!!
