Good to have Dennis Shelby and his crew back on the Pathfinder. The guys wanted redfish and we headed south from the Lakehouse at daybreak. After crossing a slick calm Lake Mechant we arrived at our first location only to catch 3 reds. Made a move and hit the motherload of redfish in 14 ft of water . The reds were stacked and the guys enjoyed double and triple hook-ups for the next 45 minutes. Only a few drum as the reds were the dominate fish on this day. I tagged and released another dozen reds after reaching the limit. Ended our morning in Grand Pass as the guys wanted something big on their lines and the 30-35 lb drum was just what they were looking for. Enjoyed fishing with Dennis and the boys and they coming back soon for the trout. Good luck fishing.
