I come here seeking help with some research I am doing into a biography of John Foxx (Ultravox 1976-1979)
I know that in 1970, as Dennis Leigh, he supported Stackwaddy at some pub gigs in Salford. Just acoustic guitar solos. Does anyone have the faintest idea what I'm talking about, or even better some memories?
I would love to know whether he played songs later recorded by UIltravox or whether he was even any good.??
