No disrespect to Bobby, Ira or anyone else. There are literally hundreds of drivers and many others that deserve a place on the Norwood Arena web site.
The reality is that the site is a hobby after my full time job, consulting, my other working web sites and my "honey do" list.
Much of my time involves photo restoration and research so takes a while to get new drivers added. Now that I know you have a request I will move them to the top of the addition list.
You mentioned that these guys "were pretty well known in my days at Norwood". What years did you attend?
I have some pictures of bobby my dad, and my uncle from norwood if you would like i could scan and send them to you. also Ira (my dad) can bee seen in a few pictures on the website. he is shown handing out bardahl oil to the winners when he had the parts truck at norwood.
