October 2, 2006 – Warren Church passed away today after a short bout with cancer. Warren and his wife worked in the concession stands at Norwood Arena. Warren drove the truck that supplied the different concession stands around the track (remember the road behind the grandstands that Warren drove on?). The Church family continues to be involved in the local racing community with Darryl Church driving in the Sport Trucks Division at Seekonk Speedway.
