Why is dealing with alcohol addiction so difficult?
Fortunately, I'm fortunate that neither I nor my loved ones have such problems. But I often observe people who have difficulty with alcohol. Why is it so difficult?
Re: Why is dealing with alcohol addiction so difficult?
I don't know, it's an addiction. If it wasn't an addiction, people wouldn't have problems. When the body becomes very accustomed to using a substance, which in addition has some effect on the condition, it is very difficult to give up.

Often everything is not so unambiguous, because addiction to alcohol and drugs is often combined with other problems of a mental nature. And in this case, a person really needs serious help from specialists, because without it he is unlikely to cope even with a great desire. Now there are rehab centers, including Lumina Recovery, where there is a special dual diagnosis treatment program. Specialists provide comprehensive treatment, including mental disorders, which often become a dual diagnosis.
