I currently do WW2 Living History but I am considering getting together a set of WW1 kit as my Great Uncle would have worn - he was with the 12th HLI and was killed at Loos on 26/11/15, he was 22340 Pte Daniel Taylor and has no known grave - can anyone tell me if he would have had 1908 or 1914 equipment and also what shoulder titles he may have worn - any other details of kit the Battalion would have worn would be most welcome, I have a fair knowledge of WW1 kit.
