Congratulations
I want to congratulate Stephen, Liz, and Matt on becoming the new North Brunswick Township High School Marching Band drum majors. It is well deserved and you guys certainly have your work cut out for you, but I am confident that you will rise to the occasion. To all of those who did not become drum major, the road does not stop for you. There is still a lot of work to be done with the upcoming marching band season, and with such a strong senior class leaving, the band will be needing people like you to help their new drum majors. On a personal note, I have enjoyed being the drum major of this marching band so much over this past year. I have never been prouder in my life then when I looked off that podium at championships and saw that all of our goals were being achieved. While up there I saw all of our hard work and determination culminate into one beautiful performance. You guys have been amazing and I could not have had better people to work nor share the memories with. It has been my honor to have worked with such fine people, and each and every one of you has truly shaped my life, and I hope that I have helped shape yours. To next year’s drum majors, enjoy the time that you have with the band. They truly are remarkable people. You will understand at the end of next season, and a year from now, why it is so difficult to let go. I have given so much time and effort to this band over the past year, and it makes me happy to know that the band will be left in good hands. Thank you for all of the unforgettable memories, and I wish you all the best of luck in the 2007-2008 marching band season. |

Congratulations again to Stephen, Liz and Bassel. I'm really going to miss marching band and everyone in it. It's become such a huge part of my life, and it was my life for the first half of this year. I'm so proud to have been a drum major for this band. I wish I didn't have to leave and move on with life. New drum majors: Treasure every moment of next season. Before you know it, it'll be over and you'll be left with memories. It's hard to let go to something you invest so much time and effort into. Thanks everyone for a great season that I'll never forget. I'm proud of have been your drum major. |
