The Information below is from 5 letters attached, so as to give you all the info and links at once regarding Baden, and Calgary military brat stuff.............
Hello
This was sent to me from the Baden Remembered site :
http://www.badenremembered.com/50years.htm
This gives information on a reunion on the Baden Airpark (base) itself this September.
Pass it on to others who may want the info.

These are photo albums of Schwarzach, Huegelsheim, Baden Airpark,
Soellingen-Rheinmeunster, Buehl, and a few un-named photos. Several people
from Canada and Germany have sent them to me, to share with everybody
the world over who lived in these towns and want to remember. Two
gentlemen, G.Vigier and Albert Lambrecht from the airpark area, have
sent in many. If you recognize a picture that has no title, and you
know the name of a building or store, please tell me the name.

military families lived in around the base, we welcome you to send them
in. There are other albums to do with places in Canada. You can reach

There have been over 10,000 visits to the 2 Huegelsheim albums alone, so
I now hope to get more people to know about there towns here so far.
Barb has mailed me this about an upcoming Currie, Calgary brat reunion
thing. Can any body shed some info her way ?

Hi Tom,
My maiden name use to be Barb Steed. I went to " Currie Junior High" in
1966&67 and I was wondering if you would be able to help me at all? We
are having a Currie Teen Town Reunion this Aug.30th in Calgary and I'm
trying to locate as many brats that went to Teen Town between 1962- 1970
as I can. I noticed on your site that you have some pics of the school
and surrounding areas. They are a little blurry on the computer, so I
was wondering if there is some way that these pics can be clearer??
They would be perfect to have at our reunion, as we are doing a Memory
wall. Also do you know by any chance if any one has a picture of the
old Teen Town building-T-70? We haven't been able to locate one yet.
Our web site address is: www.telusplanet.net/public/tmaertz Thanks-
hope to hear from you soon!!

Also, this is the email of a volunteer at the military museum that use
to be Sir Samuel Steele Jr High School. She informed me that there are
most likely old pictures of the school in the archives at the museum,
and they will look for them. Since they are busy with other things
there, and I'm the only one who has requested them, they are low
priority, and may even be forgotten. If you want to help get the search
started sooner so we can post the photos in the albums, email her and
ask about the progress. If anyone can go and help look, ask if it's
allowed. Any pictures of the base, PMQs, school, and students, are more
than welcome. Who knows what is down in those archives.....

As always, I'm looking for pictures. Most of you think the one or two
that you have of yourself ,your friends, your house, or school photo are
not worth it. Your wrong ! We have over 18,000 visits to the albums
now, and they are mostly from military background people. Your family,
friends, military personel, and classmates have been looking around, and
returning to look for new updates. There are now 1070 photos in the
albums, but the Calgary, and Uplands photos are at a
standstill..............

Anybody who's filthy rich and wants to finance me to go and take a few
thousand more pictures of the bases and PMQs, feel free to let me
know...(heh heh).
Tom
