training arrangements and mixed hockey
Very constructive meeting with Cwmbran Ladies on Wednesday night. We have now agreed to run a combined training night, Wednesdays at the stadium, with juniors 7-8 and seniors 8-9. (subject to booking confirmation from the stadium) Also looking at a pre-season mixed game to give us all a run around on September 1. We are also discussing a further "open day" and game for later in September (probably on a Sunday) as part of our joint recruitment push. Exciting times. and hopefully a springboard for a real growth in Cwmbran Hockey over the next few years. Now I just need to get out and do some training... GP |
