Janet, I'm looking in the old G.H. Baillie "Clockmakers of the World" book. The following is the exerpt from the book.
Hocker-
Joseph, bro. "Basingstoke". 1730. "Reading" later. LC clocks.
It looks like Joseph was the brother of John. The first John (1682) had a son John (1729). He was from Reading and died in 1756. |
