Hi John,
I too have noticed this clock has not worked for at least 20 years - all hands are out of sync and I wonder if the movement still exists.
Judging by the style of hands this is probably made by Smith of Derby with typical skeleton dials (badly in need of regilding)and no doubt contemporary with the date of the building probably around 1900.
My particular interest is turret clocks and have restored a fair few over the years,I have often thought of making enquiries on this one but have never got round to it - may make an ofer to undertake a free condition report as this would be an interesting project - a good friend of mine owns one of the leading turret clock restoration companies in the country and we sometimes work together on projects.
