Notes on Mondays impending strike in the TRNC - these notes follow on in regard to information published in a Cypriot paper (thanks Ian for your input):

Please note that in the case of the strike being put off or cancelled you need to call the airport as they might reinstate or again revise the flight times.
No airline will honour your ticket if you did not turn up for the flight. In any case there will no doubt be unavoidable chaos with the changes.

As this is a government employees issue in North Cyprus the border crossings may also be affected. The customs may well be on strike too.

I agree with Tom. For the information to be in today's paper, it must have been provided 48 hours before the start of the strike. In a situation like this, things are very fluid. Believe me, I used to work in an airline operations department. The last thing the airline wants is aircraft and passengers in the wrong place. They will look at options such as earlier or later departures, combining and re-routing flights. They could also get as far as Turkey, with the delay being there till the strike is over.
