Since my last post I have been able to trace my husband's family back to Albert Bradt. His ancestors came to Canada from the Mohawk Valley. They were UELs and include Lt.Col. John Butler. I have since found that my ancestors were from the Mohawk Valley also and joined the Butler's Rangers there. They were granted land in Cayuga Twp., Haldimand Co., and came to Pelee Island from there. Reger Bradt had a tevern in Newark (Niagara-on-the-lake)in the late 1700s for a time.

I have four different volumes on the Bradt family line, have convert them into a familytree file, will try to answer any question contain the ancestor of Albert and Arent Bradt, I am descendnat from both brothers, Albert Bradt is my direct male line, I descendant fron Arent through one of his daughter.

My great-great grandmother is Hattie Minnie Bradt b. 9/27/1867 d. 12/9/1934. She married Charles James Packer . This is where I am stuck any information would be wonderful. Thank you

Hello Ancestor. Do you have any information on Arent Bradt and his wife Kenutje Hertel? I have not been able to find anything further than these two people.
