Hi
It is sad that we have lost the facility of the message board. Dave Mckendrick's explanation appears to be the threat of legal action from CAP councillors. I assume after the allegations of spoof postings from coucil IP adresses, that were wrongly directed to a certain councillor.
At the end of the day it is up to Dave McKendrick to close the message board, although after the retraction on this site and his, the threat seems to have evaporated.
Some message boards require registration and you are then issued with a password to enter. I suppose again it is up to Dave if he doesn't want to use that option.
So is there anybody out there who wants to encourage good honest OPEN debate about our town and knows enough about websites etc to set one up like that?
