Village Tax Payer

Police Department
If I can pay less taxes if the Village government turns over the Police Department to the Town, why are my elected officials so against it? |

OK, I'm a resident of the Town outside of the Village and the Village wants me to pay more than a Village resident, but I can not vote for or against Village politicians? |
