Toyfest
When the program was well managed and sold 5000 toys it was financialy self sustaining! Government bail outs are an endless tunnel that maintain bad management! |

I assume you were referring to my editorial on helping with Toyfest. You must not have read the article clearly. I was not proposing the government help out, only that their reasoning was flawed. I fully support the notion that toyfest should be self sustaining and that the leaders need to do a better job in their procurement efforts. But I also believe that as a community, we should help them out in any way we can outside of the government sponsored methods. This can include helping in fundraising, becoming involved with the board for the Toytown museum, telling friends and family to visit, and offering your own financial assistance. |
