I hope the vote is not being put off until after the election, to "sneak it in". Don't forget that a Village Trustee (Yarnell) changed his position after his election (to Supervisor) on the increased size of the Benderson project at the Ekerd plaza. |

Pat Shea doesn't get it. He voted for NOCO. He voter for a Starbucks (luckily the rest of the board said no). And I bet he'll vote for a Quiznos. Not every issue has a middle ground. |

The Board voted for the Quiznos with no limit to future restaurants at the Benderson site.

well quiznos is here and i guess we all have seen the enviornmental destruction and evolutionary decay it has brought upon our fair city................give me a break people. the benderson site has not lead to increased traffic, people in east aurora can barely drive anyway. no extra pollution has affected the area... trust me i work there and i dont have to pick up anything in that parking lot. and what is wrong with more restaurants in east auora, oh wait... i forgot, pizza and crap fast food is all you people like.... quiznos brings in good food at moderate prices and you have a fit because the ideal that new and contemporary choices are beyond your intellectual and functional grasp.

haha scott is being ignorant and dumb, quiznos is in a horrible location and we already have one in our town, its called SUBWAY!!! and its east AURORA not auora, thank you, you not resident! |

Hey Josh..... Subway is no where near the quality of food that quiznos has to offer. Sure they have a kind of toasting that they do but it only makes the sandwich moist. Sure its a little pricy, but the fact after you pay 5.29 for a sub, you are filled up for the rest of the day because of it. Its quality subs for a little extra, not processed junk for a cheap buck. And if you want to talk about locations, let start with tim hortons. The most congested spot in east aurora is the result of tim hortons. Drive thru lines that stretch into oakwood st. and the mobil station across from the coffee chain. I guess some people forget that tim hortons was also not looked forward to by residents in the town and oh...my what has happened.....Remember Josh....This town doesnt know what is good for it. That is the reason we have an ignorant town board as a representive of that concensis. Anyone can like anything if it has the proper advertising, marketing and coupons...yes i said it...coupons drive this town. I have never seen a response to coupons any where I have ever been. You act as if to save 39 cents is a godsend and because numerous of them were printed it is your obligation to use each and everyone to get more money off and you hope that the cashier wont see the 'only one per customer' printed in big letters on the bottom of the coupon, and then throw a fit saying how everyone is against you. Quit being cheap EAST AURORA. You have money, use it. Quiting you B***hing and pony up the dough. Excuse my tangent...I digress because this is what is wrong with east aurora. Quiznos is still here after 8 months. They are doing excellent as i have found out and plan to be in east aurora at their present location, which more people in town have found now, for a very long time....... |
