I vote "no" for the Charlie the Butcher
let's keep East Aurora historical and quaint
let's keep our children safe
our corners less congested
more green space to enjoy

I still can't believe this decision. It makes one wonder if there is someong paying off the village board. How could they do that? If a child gets hit by a car while someone is driving away eating a Roast Beef sandwhich the blood will be on the hands of Pat Shea, Pat McDonnell, Jerry Thompson, and Rob Ruffner.

Trustees Thompson & McDonnell are behind Pat Shea's re-election. I don't NOCO what they have in common.

you people are all jaded. You dont realize that in order to have a successful town, business must be brought in to make the town prosper. with your conservative bullsh** you are blinded by your set ways.

Re: Noco - Charlie the Butcher

Chain restaurants don’t make a community prosper; all they do is try to force “mom and pop’s” out of business. You know the businesses that are real community members (they sponsor our kids athletic teams, put ads in the High School yearbook and help in fund raising for local groups). Unique places like, Charlies Diner, Sweet Memories, Tantalus, Taste, The Globe Hotel, The Bar-Bill & Vidlers, these are the businesses that make East Aurora different and yes, prosper. And some of these are fairly resent additions to our community. You would probably like to see an Arby’s, a Wendy’s or a Taco Bell in our community. And then we would be like everywhere else, no thank you.

Let's keep east aurora historic and quaint by building more buildings and leaving others empty because we all know that empty buildings are a very beautiful sight

Bob, thank you. at least some else has the balls to say the what east aurora needs is a facelift and a kick in the butt in the right direction. Is keeping our individuality expendable when large amount of dollars are being spent to locate businesses in to our fair town. i understnad you people who are set into your panicked little ways but wake up and face it the oonly way to get your town off the map for brutal police episodes is to give those children jobs at the businesses coming into our town.

Re: Noco - Charlie the Butcher

what is needed is more recreation biz. it's sad that in order for a teenage to have an ounce of fun they have to travel 20 mins away from the village. lets new biz come in!

Re: Noco - Charlie the Butcher

This is an opinion of an ex-resident.

Every time I return to EA it reminds me of my youth. Much of it is the same as it was 30-40 years ago.
There is something special there, like many of the historic communities in the Northeast.

So many towns have sold out to big business that they hardly resemble what they once were and will never be again.

Please keep it as quaint as it's always been, because once its gone it will never return.
Might as well live in Cheektowoga or West Seneca, then.
