Focus Ireland Triathlon, Marshalls needed
Focus Ireland are urgently in need of 125 marshals for the first ever Focus Ireland Triathlon which is taking place on Sunday August 3rd on Grand Canal Square , D2. As a volunteer you will play a key role in helping out with event safety by warning general passers by that there is a race in progress and by issuing directions to event participants. We need 125 volunteers from 7.00am – 1pm. To counteract the early start on the bank holiday Sunday there will be tea/coffee and Danishes for everyone on arrival. Also every volunteer will be provided with an event t-shirt and a goodie bag, along with an invitation to the BBQ in the Quality Hotel after the race. Free car parking will be provided for all volunteers for the day. We are really desperate for volunteers at this stage, we need a further 70 – So please forward this email to your friends and family, we really need your help on the day. I have attached a poster advertising the need for volunteers and would appreciate it if you could put it up in your office, gym, sports centre or community centre.
