Brian McNamara Memorial Cup
Dear Secretary, I would like to invite your club to attend the annual Brian McNamara Memorial Cup race in Tuam Co. Galway, on July 20th 2008. The race is open to category 2, 3, Vets, Ladies and junior cyclists. This is the 4th year this race has been on and each year it gets bigger and bigger. It is one of the biggest prize funds in the country for this category. The prizes are as follows: 1st:€200 2nd:€175 3rd:€150 4th:€125 5th:€100. 6th:€75 There is a team prize of €200.00. 1st, 2nd and 3rd unplaced Vets, ladies and juniors will also receive €50.00, €35.00 and €25.00 respectively. I think you will agree this is quite a substantial prize fund. If you are in touch with riders who would be interested in the race please let them know also. All are welcome.
