Paulo Bettini W/champ Jersey
Dear Sir I was wondering if you could lead me in the right direction. We are The Barnacoyle Parents group for children with Autism in Co. Wicklow in association with St. Catherine's Special School, Newcastle, and have been trying to raise much needed funds to save Barnacoyle school from closing. We have kindly been donated a signed Jersey by Paolo Bettini - it is the acutal jersey he was presented with when he won the world championship recently. We are hoping to auction this off - do you think any of your members would be interested in it. Or would you know who I could contact to generate some interest in the jersey. Received the above in a mail. I suggested that they might realise a greater value if they raffled it within the cycling community, poss giving an ordinary cycling fan a chance to own such a thing. do ye think that people would support such a venture and what price would you pitch tickets at? Or would it realise a greater value at auction?? |
