Subject:   6 move onto Districts
Name:   Wayne

Message:   Greg Conover puts Eyler on his back in the 3rd to win it 7-4. 99% of the packed house booed when the ref did not give Greg the pin. No doubt, the shoulders were flat, but none the less - Greg is the Champ.

Cory dominated Stambaugh to the tune of 14-1. Of the 14 points, 8 of them came from takedowns.

Nate controlled the whole match against Washburn but still found himself in overtime at the end. No fear...Nate took him down for the crown

Mitch lost a 4-2 heartbreaker, giving up a reversal in the closing seconds. I'm still wondering why they didn't give him backpoints early on when he was cranking a power half.

Tyler may have had the most outstanding tournament of all the Bolt wrestlers. He got revenge on two different wrestlers who beat him during the regular season. His 3rd place finish turned quite a few heads.

Davis beat a very tough Delone wrestler to qualify himself for Districts. In the consey finals he almost pulled off another major upset, losing 1-0 to a Hanover kid that pinned him 3 separate times this season.

Colby wrestled strong, but found himself in one of the most loaded weight classes I've ever seen at Sectionals.

Adam Bish misses making Districts by a single heart breaking point.

Adam Wantz got hurt early in his first bout and Ben got hurt early in the week and was unable to compete all together (major bummers)

Mike Carroll, Joe Hansen, Kenny Roth, & Garrett Smith all lost early on. Mike, Joe, & Kenny can set their sights on next year, but Garrett will be graduating this year. Good luck and thanks for the memories, Garrett. I know you will be successful in whatever you do. The hard work and life lessons you experienced in wrestling will help you for the rest of your life.

Good luck to the six who move on. I believe the Bolts have the potential to grab some district medals...even gold if they want it bad enough.
