Message:   WOW! That a hard one.

First off, I (being an ex-New Oxford Colonial) do not have the ability to comment on past (pre-2000) Littlestown wrestlers. Coach B would have to help me when it comes to pointing out exciting wrestlers in the first 30 some years of Littlestown wrestling. I am sure there were many but I bet guys like Warren Robertson, Ken Klinedinst, & Chad Masemer had to be exciting. I know first hand how exciting Andy Allessie was (at least it was exciting for him and the L-town fans). Twice he had me counting the lights way back when.

Even when it comes to the ones I've had the chance to watch, it is VERY tough to pick a top 5. If I was forced to, though it would go something like this:

- Chad Litten was as explosive a wrestler as I've ever seen. When it was go time, no one was better at blasting a move with authority.

- Tyler Gorman was a true technician. He could and would hit you with everything...including the kitchen sink.

- Dave Macy will always remain one of my favorite wrestlers to watch. He had the ability to get the whole gym on their feet and rockin. Seeing him win a 17-16 slugfest happened over and over in his career.

- Greg Conover is one of the smoothest wrestlers I've ever seen, and Mitch Killeen reminds me of a surgeon how he disects his opponents with a array of moves, but when it comes to exciting....Steve Flickinger more than fills the definition. He always went at whatever he was doing with a passion for the sport. I will never forget many of his matches where he just left me with my bottom jaw dropped.

-How do I name just one more? James Ortiz was a power pack that often got the crowd going nuts. Kyle Gorman was flat out awesome with his flying cradles & out of nowhere spladles. Sam Collins was a "balls to the wall" wrestler who was afraid of NOONE (Nate Murren - ditto). Adam Wantz is fun to watch hit throws. Andy McMaster would shock you with upsets. Erik Taylor was lightning quick. Colby Wagaman's determination can be called nothing but exciting. Dan Sponseller was a pinning machine. Cam Armacost may not be experienced, but he brings it evertime.....I could go on and on.

How bout your top 5, boltfan?

How bout anybody else out there?
