abreast of the stroke

the kutz have acquired a world beater to swell(thats apt)their ranks yes the iconic ,the one and ,well two and only duncan goodhew now graces the stage with the lads . now listen people please dont hassle him for autographs as he is currently seeking to put his swimming triumphs firmly behind(thats definately not apt)him and concentrate his efforts into singing with the band, what ever you do ,dont remark on the fact that hes gained a pound or two cos hes had a tough two or three years since dropping out of the television game so join with me and welcome him into the fold,or should that be several folds ps any one turning up at the brighton ska fest wearing goggles and swim cap will be warmly applauded and made heartily welcome upon the stage

Re: abreast of the stroke

The mind 'goggles' at the state of said man, he really has let himself go, with legs like tree 'trunks' more spare tyres than in your average scrapyard. I think this gig will be a 'personal best' for him as long as he realises it's a marathon not a '100 metre freestyle' sprint, 'roll' on Sunday when he can get the beers in as he's not used to 'splashing' out.
Sunday 'marks' his second live attempt at the 'set' so i hope it will 'go' with a bang.

Re: abreast of the stroke

yeh lets hope it gos swimmingly for him and he does,nt throw the towel in ,could take a while to get there depends which lane we,re in hope traffic dont slow to a crawl, weather dont look too clever might need to take his snorkel parka,we might have to pool our resources to ensure his bronzed survival,we,ll have to speak at length to sea how the bouy doe,s,but he got off to a flyer lasy week .if the motorways get jammed we might take the trunk roads to speed o up the journey. you deserve a medal if you beat this haz
