People of Nauru:
From what I gather there are very consistent ocean swells that break upon your island's coral reefs.
I strongly suggest you explore the possibility of shaping various areas of your reefs into world class surfing spots. Once you have created excellent waves, the entire surfing world will flock to your island.
Surfing has been a main feature of the Balinese economy, the Mexican economy, the Fijian economy.
Surfers for years have envisioned sculpting perfectly shaped reefs that cause perfect waves to break.
You can do this. It will turn your nation around.
