Please read the letter to the editor by former Big Spring city councilman in this weekend's edition of The Big Spring Herald which includes the stunning statement,"I know all the dirty tactics, threats and intimidation, etc."

Dirty tactics may not necessarily be illegal, but I would think that threats and intimidation [re a matter of government/ voting] would be highly illegal.

What makes that letter to the editor so special is who it is from. Chuck is a good guy. I believe he has his heart in the right place. I can't say that for the rest of the county commissioners or the city council.

Folks better wise up quickly. I would not hesitate to say that the powers in Big Spring are already brining out the Super Votes to pass the jail bond, just as they did to keep the Mayor in his position.

You mention good guy and bad guys (officials).
Some times they need to be reminded that
iis not their personal office.
That office belongs to the people.
We put them there to help and protect us.
But, along the way their thinking changes
power of control takes over.
You are right about the Super Votes.
I call them Top Guns (race for power).
Money has power and power rules.
I can not remember a time when it
was not like that in Big Spring.

Would like to get more information on this.
I have alwayes thought it was there.
Would like to see an example of a
"dirty tactic, threat and intimidation"
this needs to be exposed to the people.
