What does it mean to be FREE and to have FREEDOM?
What does it mean to be FREE? What does it mean to have FREEDOM? Our founding fathers, believed in a Judeo-Christian society, that could live free from the forced government church of England. They came to America, many of them criminals, and settled into the new world. They brought 2 books with them. The bible and the Common Law. Combined together, they made an awesome belief system. Added to the mix, was the governing rules the Indians of the new world lived by. This is how we arrived at our Republican form of Government. This, was the foundation for a FREE world. Let us remember that William Wallace, years before, died for FREEDOM. He wanted to live free. He wanted to topple the British Monarchy in order to have the right to decide for himself what he was to believe and how to live his life. Taxation without Representation was also a hot topic of William Wallace's day. The British Monarchy taxed everything to the maximum. They took whatever they wanted like leeches on a vein and didn't care how much blood they drank, it was never enough. The US Constitution does NOT have a "seperation clause" between church and state. The fact remains, that our founding fathers, who had Judeo-Christian beliefs, wrote our Constitution so that our government could not "create" a state sponsored church and force everyone to follow it. Government may not sponsor, create or ordain a church or religion and force everyone to follow it. That is the Constitutional Law. The 2nd Amendment, our soverign right to own and bear arms, was written into the Bill of Rights, because the Surfs or the People of Britian, were not allowed to own weapons. The Monarchy was afraid of the People and forbade it. However, our forefathers knew that if the new world government and constitution were to survive, the People would have to have the right to own, keep and bear arms, not only to protec themselves and their property from criminals, but also from search and seizure. They knew that the only way a tyrannical government could be changed was by force ... the force of many who had the right to own, keep and bear arms. This was not an accident. It was very good planning. Since 09/11/2001, the introduction of the Patriot Act has taken much of our rights away or made it so that they could be taken away much easier by Government. In the early 1960's, the UNITED NATIONS, a world body formed by mostly Communist Regimes began to mobilize their member countries into turning over their arms in order to give the WORLD POLICE and WORLD ARMY the only means to put down disruptions. This should never fly in the face of FREEDOM. As long as Americans draw breath, we are a threat to the UNITED NATIONS and their designs to have a world unable to fight their form of Tyranny. As a veteran of the USAF, I can tell you that during the cold war, there was a reality of nuclear war. The only thing that stopped it from happening was the MAD theory. MAD = Mutually Assured Destruction. In nuclear war, there are no winners and certainly everyone becomes a loser. If you don't die from the bomb blasts, radiation and nuclear winter will certainly due the trick. While we are in a voting season, let us all remember who paid the price for our FREEDOM because there was a price paid. It was paid in BLOOD by the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces. Whether or not you disagree with whatever war we are currently in, please be kind enough to those giving up their lives so that you can live yours FREE. Cast your vote today. It does count. You may not win the election, but you can win the war against fascism and tyranny.
