Re: civil rights statutes

Very interesting links.

Kneemolaygell, I've always heard of legal concepts like equal enforcement of the law, but I didn't realize that they were so specifically spelled out in statutes. With the war on terror, does the FBI really have time to investigate local yokels on civil rights violations not based on race, or is there a dedicated civil rights division of the FBI?

I've been to Hearst Castle. The location was stunning, but it did not strike me as being an architectural masterpiece even though the component parts are worth a billion dollars.

Re: civil rights statutes

I see it's not a good idea to lie to federal investigators.

Re: civil rights statutes

Perhaps, now that you've read Title 18 USC, you would be so inclined to visit Title 42.

Under Title 42, Judges and other public servants can be held accountable and liable in a court of law and sued.

I'll get the exact sections for you and post them here.

Also, check out Title 5, Section 551. I think you will be amazed at what you read. The next time you're asked for your SSN number, you'll simply inform the asker if they are not the Federal Government, they can't have it. Banks are not immune from this statute either.
