Sort Of Flirtatious O To dream with you - willowy hills, fields among gaze in calm waves, nothing untoward open-faced And before the Gods, simplicity itself, drank with the joy of sincerity and kindness, compelled - stretched out source Wild flowers gathered on every corner, assimilated and equally yours, lilac under-foot - how very striking! Sort of flirtatious by love, sensual, proud, life's burdens far-flung, their tempestuous energy, silent in last embrace - Buffeted from all sides establishing the present form This to be a scene returning, over and over! Familiar, vigorous imagination, raising echoes of that voice with rainbow coloured Parakeets, flowers and butterflies You and I watching the reflection dancing over blu-lit waters as the shutters close on day, all songs sang, now lighter thought And without looking at me, now realised in existence, spilled around hands held, face to face, the scenes I have just described to you In all their follies, to bring happiness by the same means!
