Ideas for the fund raising committee?
If anyone has any ideas they would like to propose to the fund raising committee, please post them here. |

Well, I actually had an idea myself about products to sell at the district convention. I included a rough estimate of cost per item to us. Car magnet of KKY crest for 125 they are .78 cents each Playing cards. They would be a solid color (maybe blue?) with silver foil of the crest or perhaps just our letters. That's debatable. Anyway... for 100 decks they are $3.87 each Baseball caps (trust me, these are the more fashionable kind) with perhaps the letters on them. I really like this idea! for 25 they are $4.12 a piece Other ideas I like but haven't found a good price yet: Spiral Bound Notebooks with logo on front (perfect for class or meetings) Maybe we could make these ourselves? Key chains Pencils Water bottle Bracelets, either silicone or neoprene That's what I have for now. Can I have some input as to what everyone thinks about these things? |

i really like the card deck idea and the notebook idea. probably because I personally would buy them! |

I think those ideas sound great. I think we should definitely do the 3 ideas you mentioned for convention. We have to be careful selling things that weekend, though. It's university policy of some sort that we're not allowed to make money over that weekend. Everybody else can, but we're not supposed to. We'll still do it, but just becareful. As for the other ideas...the notebooks would also be a good idea for convention. I think they're all great ideas. We just need to follow through now! We'll talk about it in the first meetings for sure. Just remind me. |
